Why This Role Matters 

As Intern, AI Enablement, you will help operationalize AI across the business – identifying where it creates real value and translating that into structured workflows, tools, and practices teams can adopt. 

You will work directly with cross-functional teams to prototype and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve execution, productivity, and decision-making. 

Your work will not be theoretical; It will directly influence how Roadpost operates and scales its AI capabilities.
 

What You’ll Do   

  • Identify & Prioritize High-Impact AI Opportunities. Audit workflows across Marketing, Customer Operations, Product, and Sales to surface and prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and alignment with company goals – ensuring efforts focus on areas that drive meaningful results. 

  • Design, Build & Iterate AI-Enabled Workflows. Develop, test, and refine prompts, tools, and lightweight automations using LLM platforms (I.e., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). Deliver practical solutions that measurably improve speed, clarity, and execution quality, and iterate based on real-world usage. 

  • Enable Scalable Adoption Across Teams. Document repeatable workflows, prompt libraries, and best practices, and translate them into playbooks, training materials, and workshops. Success is reflected in teams consistently using these tools in their day-to-day work – not just in one-off experiments. 

  • Support AI Integration Across Product & Operations. Contribute to embedding AI into both internal processes and customer-facing capabilities (i.e., intelligent alerting, monitoring, automation), ensuring solutions align with broader platform and customer experience goals. 

  • Translate Research into Actionable Insight. Stay current on AI tools, trends and applications (including satellite communications and safety technology), and synthesize findings into clear, practical recommendations that inform decisions and prioritization. 

  • Ensure Quality, Measure Impact & Drive Improvement. Evaluate outputs for accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with business standards, while tracking where AI is improving productivity, decision-making, and execution. Use data and feedback loops to continuously refine solutions. 

  • Communicate Clearly & Drive Alignment. Present prototypes, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, ensuring visibility into progress, impact, and next steps. 

  • Promote Responsible AI Practices. Reinforce standards for privacy, accuracy, and appropriate use, ensuring AI adoption is trusted, consistent, and aligned with company expectations. 

What You Bring 

  • Relevant Background. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Communications, or related fields.  

  • Applied AI & Builder Mindset. Hands-on experience with AI tools (I.e., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot), and experience building or experimenting with LLM-powered solutions beyond basic usage. 

  • Structured Problem Solving. Ability to take ambiguous problems and translate them into clear approaches, tradeoffs, and actionable workflows that can be tested and scaled. 

  • Execution-Oriented Approach. Bias toward action – you prototype, test, and iterate quickly, focusing on delivering outcomes rather than analysis alone. 

  • Clear & Effective Communication. Able to explain technical concepts in a precise, practical way to non-technical stakeholders and contribute to shared understanding across teams. 

  • Organizational Strength & Attention to Detail. Capable of managing multiple workstreams while maintaining high standards for quality and consistency.  

  • Collaborative & Curious. Comfortable working cross-functionally, asking questions, and challenging assumptions to improve outcomes. 

Nice to Have   

  • Experience with prompt engineering, workflow design, or no-code automation tools. 

  • Programing experience (Python or Javascript). 

  • Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, or applied AI architectures. 

  • Experience creating documentation, SOPs, or training materials.  

  • Exposure to data analysis, experimentation, or operational improvement. 

  • Interest in IoT, satellite communications, or connected device ecosystems. 

  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment. 

What We Offer   

  • Hourly Range. $25.00 – $26.44 CAD/hour 

  • Defined Term Contract. Contract effective from May to the end of August 2026.
